Who should take BLS certification classes?

BLS is required for healthcare professionals; nurses, physicians, dentists or dental professionals, paramedics, EMTs, physical therapists and other healthcare workers. First responders; firefighters, police officers, and public safety personnel and healthcare students. Individuals who want to be prepared to help in emergencies at home, work, or in the community can also benefit from BLS training.

Who should take ACLS certification classes?

ACLS certification is designed for healthcare professionals, especially those who regularly handle cardiac emergencies or are in high-risk environments. This includes physicians, nurses, paramedics, and EMRs. The certification is recommended for those who directly or indirectly participate in the management of cardiac arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies

Who should take PALS certification classes?

PALS certification is highly recommended for healthcare providers who work with children and infants, including those in emergency response, intensive care, and critical care units. This includes physicians, nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals involved in the emergency treatment of pediatric patients. It's particularly important for those who may be called upon to manage life-threatening situations in children

How often do I need to renew my certification?

American Heart Association certifications are valid for two years. We recommend periodic refresher courses to ensure your skills remain current and effective.

What should I bring or prepare for my class?

All equipment is provided in the testing facility. You just need to prepare your log in information on the day of your skill test.

Can I choose between Instructor-Led option and Online/Blended learning options?

Our voice-enabled manikins give more precise feedback than human instructors, are quicker to get you through the training, and are more convenient to schedule.  All of this combined means that our students prefer the simplicity and effectiveness of our tech-led instruction.  Still, for students who need it we have a team of online CPR instructors available to assist you during your skills session.  You can find their contact information in the office when you visit.

What courses do you offer?

We offer Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)—all designed to meet American Heart Association guidelines.

Do you offer same-day certification?

Yes, our courses include a hands-on skills assessment at the end of the training session. Upon successful completion, you receive your official American Heart Association certificate on the same day.

What is AHA CPR Training?
